Buffalo Wings is the original funny animal slice-of-life college comic strip by writer/artist John Nunnemacher. It follows a group of friends and their relationships with each other during the years at Boxen University, and originally appeared in the fanzine Yarf! and the Wild Life anthology between 1990 and 1994.
 
This first volume contains the complete original series as printed in the fanzine Yarf! between August 1990 and July 1992. Never before has the series been collected in its entirety, and it is presented here with commentary by John Nunnemacher and features an all-new, never before published chapter written by John and drawn by Vince Suzukawa of Class Menagerie fame.
