Fur-Piled: Volume Five

Fur-Piled, Volume 5, "Dog Days Are Over" brings to a close over 5 years worth of adventures of Husky, Saetto and their friends. Andy and Chris both come to grips with the new realities they face, while Husky tries not to dwell on what lies ahead. In the end, the whole gang comes together for a night on the town. Everyone is back where they started, with a new outlooks, new companions, and in many ways whole new futures ahead of them.

The Fur-Piled comic series by Leo Magna has a sense of reality that is refreshing in the genre of gay slice-of-life romance comics. The story effortlessly navigates the lives of the characters (even if their lives are not so easy to navigate), resisting the temptation to turn them into larger-than-life archetypes. In the end, Husky and all his friends are just real people in real situations.

This volume collects chapters twenty-five through twenty-eight:All These Things That I Have Done, Centrifuge, Oh My God, and Fur-Piled. The print version includes five new pages not seen in the online version of this comic.

This volume of Fur-Piled brings the number of pages in print up to 427 (and then some!), and brings the online comic to a close. Be sure to stop by his website, www.liondogworks.com to read more about the characters, and discuss any and all topics with his fans on his forum.
